You will require the document attestation from MOFA when you want to use this document abroad. When you use any document outside of Pakistan in some other country, attestation will be required. When the MOFA attests the documents, they put a barcode sticker on it. For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation verification, you can scan the sticker. The MOFA office follows the MOFA attestation procedure in Pakistan. You have to take the original document to the MOFA office if you want to get it attested. MOFA ATTESTATION PROCEDURE

The MOFA attestation procedure in Pakistan is as follows.

Visit the MOFA office personally with the original document.
Wait in the queue to get into the office premises.
On your turn, they will give you a fee stamp to be fixed on the document.
Once the fee is fixed, they will give you a form to fill out along with your token number.
Once again, you have to wait till your token number appears on the screen.
On your turn, they will keep your document and ask you to wait until the end of the day.
At the end of the day, they will give you your attested document after 3 pm.

MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS ATTESTATION VERIFICATION

For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs verification in Pakistan, they put a bar code sticker on the document. This sticker is put on the original document. Any bar code scanner app on your mobile can scan the bar code on this sticker. When you scan the bar code, the mobile will open your document. Pakistan has now digitized the MOFA procedure, and they fix a digital barcode on the document.
